Coca Cola is quite likely the most recognisable brand logo in the world, yet not for everyone. Visually Impaired people are not able to “read” the brand name and choose their favorite drink. The company’s ads are well known to break racial and social stereotypes and promote a concept of joy, connection and equality among all people through everyday moments. Coca Cola Braille edition is another great step to that direction. The design is clean, bold, distinctive and functional. Color, typography, as well as the famous “stripe” all work together in order to preserve the product’s global and familiar visual identity, while the “Coca Cola” name stands out written in Braille instead of the original font. Now, following the company’s 2015 moto, you can “Share a Coke with… everyone.”
