Branding for Manoir included a unique logo design and concept that depicts the luxury, high quality materials and attention to detail that was given to the creation of the space itself. Build on the ground floor of and old mansion, the place was named after the Old French word manoir for the english manor, a luxury mansion or estate. Gold is the epitome of luxury but the character of the bar is that of a more casual hobo luxury style, a modern day grunge formal space that can serves all kinds of high taste. So a reddish copper with a deep shade and glossiness was chosen as a brand colour and construction material on fine details.
An almost medieval font was used for the logo typography, as a reference to the 12-13th century feudal manors while the key point of the logo, that also serves as a standalone icon is that intricate attention to detail, a classical key head of that era, the symbol of the manoir lord, the passe partout head key.
