Rebranding of M.As. architecture firm was a game of design principals and semantics, broken down to their primal core. A well known and established firm with more than forty years of experience stepping into a new “identity” is a careful and meticulous step. Any change must be distinctive, yet coherent.
Colorwise the brand identity is the purest form architecture depiction. Ink on paper. Black on white. The current logo is broken down within its own boundaries in two elements. The base, the foundation which we build upon. And the brand, the name speaking out for itself with the confidence of a global architecture firm leading in its field. Standing out as visual element is a dot. A black square. A period, representing the wholeness of each project and completion on all levels by the cornerstone of Makridis’ firm, the Associates.
