Applications & Stationery
An architecture studio with a large scale of projects in all sectors, both in landscape & architecture. The client brief was a rebranding request that would reflect the current firm portfolio, taking on major urban and construction architecture projects, without losing the main character of the studio.
A challenging task was the creation of a logo form that brings out the rigid structure of building and construction architecture design, as well as the more organic and abstract forms that one tends to observe in landscape architecture. A bold, three-part single stroke stands out now as the new logo. Hard, acute, linear, resembling a structural section element and ground contour line at the same time.
The logo form is also an altered reflection of the letter Z, the 3rd and depth dimension, the zero point and common ground of the x and y axis on the two-dimensional representation. As it follows the two letters xy in the alphabet, this alteration of the letter z is the next step of design, the element that brings any architecture creation from the two dimensional space of a plan on a piece of paper to its realized three dimensional construction and existence in the world.
